Do I need to provide any of the cleaning products/materials or equipment?Bachclean provide our own cleaning products which are environmentally sensitive, and septic safe. We currently use Doterra which smells divine (clove and orange base) and we clean floors with eucalyptus (essential oils). We get wonderful feedback about how lovely our clients homes smell, and these products are also perfect if people have allergies. Please let us know if you have some specific products or equipment you want us to use - e.g. one of our clients has lovely wooden floors and prefers us to use the cleaning product the installers recommend.

If I need to cancel a cleaning time, what notice do I need to give?"Ideally we would like 48 hours notice to enable us to reschedule our cleaners for other waitlisted jobs, but of course if this is due to illness or an unforseen circumstance, we understand! However, If you forget to let us know in advance, about an appointment or circumstance meaning we can't clean for you, then unfortunately there will be a fee of half of the total cost for the service(s) scheduled. This fee can be credited back as a spring clean or extra clean if you wish. If you have a holiday or other sort of engagement booked in the future, do let us know well in advance. We will happily hold your regular cleaning spot - but will try to book the time that you are away for waitlisted clients wanting spring cleans.

What happens if something is broken or damaged?If Bachclean break or damage an item in your home, we will offer to replace it, or deduct the replacement value from our next clean. Please ensure you advise us of any issues you might be having with utilities (electrical, plumbing etc.) and we will update you if we have noticed anything of concern.

Do you offer other services than what is listed (ie carpet and oven cleaning)?Yes! We can either provide this service ourselves or we can co-ordinate with our local services on your behalf. Please contact us to ask and we can discuss your requirements.

Who will be cleaning our home?We usually work in a team of two, however our smaller jobs 2-2.5 hours are handled by one cleaner. You will know from day one who your assigned cleaner is and if we ever have to change cleaners on occasion, we will let you know in advance.

Can I change the list of duties on my regular schedule?Weekly cleaning includes kitchen, bathroom/s, dusting, vacuuming, mopping etc. If the dishwasher is full, and washed, we will put everything away. If there are dishes in the sink, we will wash them. If there is washing to hang out or put in the drier, we will gladly do this if time. If there is washing to be folded, we will fold it if time! And yes, if there are any special jobs you would like done, just ask. We will even take your dog for a walk or a toilet break if you'd like us to :-) !

Is your cleaning team pet friendly?Definitely! Our cleaning teams enjoy animals and will respect your pets while we are visiting your home. We're a pet friendly cleaning service!

What are Bachclean's payment terms?Our regular weekly and fortnightly clients pay us on the day of cleaning, by automatic payment. Casual on call clients (i.e holiday home cleans, spring cleans, exit cleans) are invoiced within 24 hours of the clean, and payment is to be made upon receipt of the invoice.

Does Bachclean offer a restocking service for holiday rental properties?Yes, at times we discover previous guests have used up the BBQ gas, or toilet paper is low. Often our clients provide standard supplies i.e. tea, coffee, milk. If anything is running low and you have another guest arriving we are happy to restock for you. Our minimum charge is $60 to cover shopping and delivery. This may be higher depending on travel distance etc. but is based on our standard $40 per hour charge.
